Stefán Tómasson, who has been doing these tours for over 40 years, arrived promptly at 830a in his monster truck wheeled SUV and had as back at our hotel by 530. He was a wonderful guide - very pleasant with a good sense of humor and deep knowledge of the terrain, the sights and history. He is also a superb driver, barreling through deep snow, off road if necessary. We saw all the sights - the geyser, the waterfall, the tectonic plate juncture and the glacier. All spectacular. Bravo.
